DUAL CITIZENSHIP
In commemoration of the Year of Return 2019, Ghana made history once again by being the first African country to issue Dual Citizenship to over 100 Diasporan Africans who had been living in the country for many years.
TGBF is honored to have contributed to these efforts and we are proud to continue working with the Office of Diasporan Affairs from the Office of the President towards dual citizenship for all Africans in the Diaspora who are interested in bringing their talents and resources to help build the country.
TGBF along with PANAFEST is currently working on amendments within the Constitutions "right of abode" that will make the process for dual citizenship easier and not totally dependent on the Executive Orders of future presidents.
Nevertheless, TGBF will be taking the information of those interested in Dual Citizenship and presenting it to the Office of Diasporan Affairs to begin the process.
Please note: The Office of Diaspora Affairs is currently working on dual citizenship for African Diasporans who have lived in the country for many years and have yet to receive their dual citizenship. All names taken will be on a pending list as we mediate the process.
Please note: We encourage those interested in dual citizenship to join us on our spiritual pilgrimages to Ghana in December or July 2021 to participate in our Dual Citizenship workshops for accurate information and registration.
